Glitter, Bliss, and Perfect Chaos
The Glitter: I admit it. I love anything sparkly, hot pink, or bright orange. I’m hoping to have a midlife crisis soon, so I can justify the purchase of a hot pink car with thick black racing stripes. I love to paint, doodle, design interiors, rearrange furniture, cheer for my Huskers, shop for shoes, and travel. I’m celiac and our entire family suffers from food allergies, so if you ever came to my house for the holidays, we’d make amazing tasting treats that are gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, and corn-free.
The Bliss: I’m a sucker for romance and write romantic stories. My first book, That Boy, was published in May 2011, and since then have published numerous more books including The Keatyn Chronicles and the Spy Girl series. I married my very own prince charming nearly thirty years ago, and he still makes me melt. Our 20-something son, Connor, was a top nationally ranked professional go kart racer. He’s funny, has a wicked sense of humor, could carry on a conversation with a tree, can entertain himself for hours with a rubber band and a paperclip, and is about to graduate with a degree in Marketing and Entrepreneurship at Oklahoma State University. Our daughter, Kenzie Hart, is my bff, works with me, and is also an author! She’s blunt, can’t lie to save her life, loves to travel and learn about other cultures, and is very social.
